Life is FULL!

Life is full.  It is full of happiness for our family and all because of YOU!  It is full of love--our hearts can't imagine loving anything as much (though I am sure we will).

This blog is going to be full of pictures that I have not had time to post (because life is too full!)

"pickle" peyton

loving on your cousin

showing her your hoop skills and taking important calls at the same time

we kept it away as long as we could...

someday you'll fit in his shoes:)

bruiser--and super tough!

cruising

love that face!

water makes you so happy!

showing mimi your teeth

late night sword wars (glow in the dark)

helping daddy water...

turned into swimming in your wagon.

this one cracks me up the most...
two of your new things:
1) you have started putting this hat on and you think it's pretty funny
2) you persistently visit the snack cabinet and bring EVERY item to us and ask us if you can eat it.  EVERY time we say no, but you don't stop.

Reno Visit

It's been a crazy month or so for mama Kratz, hence the lack of posts.  I've been working, working, working and spending every free moment I can with my adorable son who is doing all sorts of cool things like: singing (humming), snapping to the beat of the songs, walking with no abandon and making me so proud of his sweet spirit.

Earlier this week, while I was in Chicago, Liam took a trip to Reno.  Here are some of the pictures that were sent to me.  Looks like he had fun!

The mess continues...

He is definitely not worried about keeping my house stain-free.  I guess this is what "fostering creativity" is all about.  I just hope it's not fostered on my white carpet.

First Birthday Campout

Liam, Your birthday camp out was a blast!
It started out with some really cool invites:

Was influenced by some cool camp ideas:

And turned out sooooooo cute!

Here's a look at the campsite (a.k.a. the backyard):

campsite entrance

The favors:

Hobo sacks for each of the kids, filled with camping stuff

S'more packs for the adults

The grub:
Campground Cake

"S'more"gasborg full of yummy camp treats--like muddy twigs, s'more bars, campout crunch and marshmallow pops!

Homemade straw flags in the shapes of tents, lantern and compasses

and a make your own Hot Dog bar

And a look at the fun that was had!
You loved the bright balloons (and you can even say "ba-ooon" now!)

Aunt Nicole helping with the veggie cups

Great Grandma Lois and Papa Allen

You found your way to the stump!

more ba-ooons!

you hated the hat

and the cake!

instead of cake, you preferred the "pond" (fully clothed)

as did the rest of the wee little party goers

you were quite the slugger with the bee hive pinata (also homemade--what a project that was!)

And you got lots of fun presents, but the best (and most appropriate to the theme) was the homemade (YES, HOMEMADE!) sleeping bag and pillow from Ericka.  You love snuggling with it everyday!

the Pelton's

and the Kratz's

We hope you had as much fun celebrating number one as we did!  Happy Birthday Buddy!
