Rewind. The last four months.

So what does four months of not blogging look like?

A little like this:

Halloween Costumes

Autumn Adventures

First time for ice cream at Mimi and G-Da's new McDonald's

Mama's Thanksgiving Helper

and Daddy's Workshop Partner

Tree Hunting in Auburn

And finding the perfect one

Just the four of us in Carmel

Intrigued by the Sea

Christmas Pageants

The only smile Hattie would give near Santa

Mary and Joseph Kratz

And Christmas Morning Joy

The sunniest January we've ever had--Complete with fountain wishing,

Mommy-hugging (he just wanted more coins),

and of course, DANCING!

It's been a great 4 months.

Hattie's First Birthday Party

Did I forget to post pictures of Hattie's first birthday bash?  Yes, I did.  Shameful.
We had a high-flying, Hot Air Ballon, time celebrating the her year.
Beautiful celebration for THE most beautiful and sweet girl I know.

Country Boy

We got ourselves a great nanny, whose parents have a farm.  Which is a perfect fit because I have a son who is a country boy, all the way.

Chicken chasing.  Egg gathering.  Barn fun.  He is at home on a farm.

Liam's First Day of Preschool

Your first day of preschool was a success (for the most part--see last sentence).
Your teacher is Mrs. Foss (again).
You can trace your name very well (but ask for help anyway).
You love to paint.
Your favorite part of the day was riding on the "footer" (scooter).
We did sign you in and start playing in the wrong classroom, but that was Mommy's fault (and the fact that there is another Liam in the 4 year old class!)....ooops!

Hawaii with Kratz

I feel like I cannot keep my head above water with posts lately.  I am perpetually a month or two behind.  So here is our amazing, "Once in a Lifetime" vacation {that we have taken twice already} with my husband's side of the family.  My mother-in-law and father-in-law spent months planning and booking, and planning and saving, and planning and planning to give us this amazing gift of memories.

It was a great week of sun, fun, sand, shave ice, games, and aloha spirit.

Thanks, D&A!
