It's beginning to look a lot...

LIKE CHRISTMAS!

Hattie - 3 Months

As you can see, I have been a little behind on the posts.
Here is our Hattie-girl at 3 months.

Adorable.
Loveable.
Squeezable.
Kissable.
Easygoing.
Smiler.
Talker.
Sleeper.

She has made us so very happy.  Sometimes I look at her and don't ever want to look away.  She captures you with her eyes and immediately responds to your attention with a smile or a giggle.  I believe that she will be a lover of people and will do something with her life that makes other peoples' lives better.  She has already done that for us.

Maui for Thanksgiving.  Enough said.

Thanksgiving #1 of 2

Thanksgiving.  Giving Thanks.  In 2013, saying that I am thankful is an UNDERSTATEMENT.  I am blessed beyond my dreams.  Here are some reasons why: Thanksgiving #1.

Hattie's Dedication

Hattie,
On November 12, we--your parents, your family, your friends--joined to dedicate your life to the Lord. I pray that you will know God, as your Lord and Savior, at an early age.  I pray that you will understand HIS kingdom and HIS ways are higher than ours.  I pray that you will have a deep and personal relationship with Him.  I pray that you will serve others, and impact world for His glory.  And I pray that I will live a life worth modeling.

We cherish this memory of giving you to the Lord.  May He bless you, keep you safe and healthy, and speak to you as you walk through life with Him.

Love,
Mommy

PS.  You fit PERFECTLY into the christening gown that has been in our family for generations.  Thank you for keeping it clean!

Happy Halloween.

Halloween this year was really fun.  I am convinced that all holidays will be immensely more fun now that Liam "gets it."  We prepared by starting to explain the events to Liam a couple weeks ago:  Trunk or Treat--"you go from car to car and get candy out of decorated trunks."  Trick or Treating--"you go to our neighbors and get to ask for candy."  I'm pretty sure he just heard "CANDY."  Regardless, he walked trunk to trunk and door to door like he had been doing it for years.  What a pro!

Hope your Halloween was as happy as ours.

We started the weekend prior with "Trunk or Treat" at our church.

Hattie, the cow, was all smiles for Mimi,

and for G-Da!

The Dortch's came by--Peyton as Tinkerbell.

His favorite trunks...

...Minnie,

Condiments for his costume,

And petting the donkeys.

Cousins came over on Halloween afternoon.

And that night, we took to the streets.

Until next year.  Happy Halloween.
