Sometimes it seems silly that I am still doing these monthly posts, but each month is full of new tricks, new personality and more fun.
At 14 months, you are saying a lot of the same words and some new. FINALLY, you are saying "mamama," which makes me very happy. You know "hot" and "brrrr;" "balloon" and "bubbles" are clearer than they were even a couple weeks ago. And your favorite object is still your favorite word--"ball."
You are a star dancer, you don't let music play without bouncing to the beat. You've foregone walking for running. You giggle and laugh and do this squinty thing with your eyes and a big smile, when you think something is funny. You eat more than I do (seriously) and still are in the 14th percentile, which is a far cry from the days that you were in the 98th percentile.
You are friendly to everyone and not scared of much, except for the vacuum cleaner and the lawn mower. You have the cutest way of asking "where is it?" or "where did they go?" (picture below:)
Your kisses have progressed from raspberries and blowing them to full on open mouth. You hug people goodbye and (finally) wave properly. You still drool. A. LOT. But I refuse to put a bib on you all day. And you refuse to wear them when I do.
Every time you see a plane, you move your arms in the same motion of the aircraft and say "vroom." You also have your own sign language for fish--your favorite animals.
This month, you travelled to Monterey twice and San Diego. We tried adding up all your flights--and think you have had 12 roundtrips since your birth. You are well travelled and a happy traveller.
You have adopted a bit of a clumsy streak--your big toenail has fallen off, you constantly have boo-boos, including the latest blood blister on your ear from a trip into a large bolt sticking out of a headboard. But each time you fall, you quickly pick yourself up and "brush it off." Your tears are much more apt to fall when you want to be held or don't get your way.
