17 months

This is the last month that you will be closer in age to one year than to two years, and that is insane.  I cannot believe how quickly time passes, however cliche that may be.

At 17 months here are your favorite things and some highlights:

Song: "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" or "Farmer in the Dell"

Book: "How I Became a Pirate" or as you say: "pah"

TV Show: Yo Gabba Gabba, the "Love" episode

Food: Sweet Potato Fries and Grapes
Activity: Piggy Back/Horsey rides

Toy: Your tools--we keep finding you "fixing" things like your cars, trucks, the bunk beds.  You even know how to use a stud finder on the wall.  What a smart cookie.

Place: Outside. End of story.

Playmate: Cousin "Pey-Pey"

Phrase: "Ho Ho Ho" (seasonal favorite), "Park" and "May" for "May I please?" (mama is proud of that one)

Person in the nativity: the angel (sorry, baby Jesus)

Funniest things you do: 

- Your "where is it" look, hand movements and head shake.

- Your "pretend sleeping" and "cheesy smiles" (cheesy smile shown in first picture above)

You are still sleeping all night plus two naps a day, and that makes everyone happy.  Because, when you are not sleeping, you are not still.  You are constantly moving, kinetic energy, no resting whatsoever!

You are a pretty good sharer, but can be extremely territorial about certain things--your highchair, your mama's and grammy's arms, and your food.
